💼 Drug Substance (DS) Manufacturing
Position: Executive / Senior Executive
Qualification: Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Biotechnology or Microbiology
Experience: 2–8 years of relevant experience

🧬 Upstream Manufacturing – Mammalian Suite
Skills Required
- Strong understanding of upstream manufacturing processes involving mammalian cell culture of monoclonal antibodies and drug substance production.
- Assembly, preparation, installation and testing of single-use bioreactors and other single-use assemblies will be an added advantage.
- Ability to perform cell expansion, media preparation, aseptic processing, bioreactor operation and process monitoring.
🧫 Upstream Manufacturing – Microbial Suite
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of upstream manufacturing processes involving microbial fermentation and drug substance production.
- Knowledge of microbial culture handling, media preparation and inoculum development.
- Experience in fermentation process monitoring, harvest operations and associated upstream operations.
🔬 Downstream Manufacturing – Mammalian Suite
Skills Required
- Knowledge of monoclonal antibody downstream processing, including harvest and clarification.
- Experience with depth filtration and chromatography purification such as Protein A and ion-exchange processes.
- Knowledge of viral clearance operations, tangential flow filtration (UF/DF), bulk drug substance handling and formulation.
- Experience with chromatography skids such as Cytiva ÄKTA, Merck, Sartorius or equivalent platforms is desirable.
⚗️ Downstream Manufacturing – Microbial Suite
Skills Required
- Strong understanding of downstream manufacturing processes involving microbial fermentation and drug substance production.
- Knowledge of protein chemistry, dissolution/refolding and buffer preparation.
- Experience in purification, precipitation and crystallization processes.
