Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi has invited applications from eligible researchers for the Raja Jwala Prasad Post-Doctoral Fellowship (RJP-PDF) under its Institution of Eminence programme.
🏛️ BHU Post-Doctoral Fellowship 2026
Banaras Hindu University, recognised as an Institution of Eminence, has released an official advertisement for the Raja Jwala Prasad Post-Doctoral Fellowship.
The current recruitment includes 32 fellowship opportunities across multiple departments and research disciplines at BHU.
💰 Fellowship & Financial Support
The contingency amount is provided on a pro-rata basis according to the official BHU notification.
⏳ Fellowship Duration
The Raja Jwala Prasad Post-Doctoral Fellowship will normally remain valid for 12 months from the date of joining of the Fellow.
The selected researcher will carry the title “Raja Jwala Prasad Post-Doctoral Fellow.”
🎓 General Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant should possess a Ph.D. in the subject or related discipline specified for the respective post.
- For Ph.D. obtained from India, the University/Institute should generally have an NIRF ranking up to 50 overall or in the respective area.
- Applicants with Ph.D. from universities abroad ranked among the top 500 according to QS or THE rankings may also be eligible.
- Researchers who completed their research at an Institution of National Importance are also eligible under the stated conditions.
- Candidates should have a proven research record with at least two papers in Q1/Q2 journals or SCOPUS/Web of Science-listed journals.
