The Department of Biotechnology-supported Biotech Industrial Training Programme (BITP) offers six months of industry-focused training to eligible biotechnology and bioinformatics graduates.

🎓 Eligibility
- B.E. / B.Tech.
- M.Sc.
- M.Tech.
- M.V.Sc.
- MBA in Biotechnology / Bioinformatics
- Minimum 50% marks or equivalent grade
📚 Eligible Passing Years
Candidates who completed their eligible degree during:
- 2023–24
- 2024–25
- 2025–26
Eligible students enrolled under the DBT PG Teaching Programme in Biotechnology may also apply according to the official guidelines.

💰 Stipend & Training Support
- DBT Share: ₹10,000 per month, subject to programme conditions.
- Company Share: Minimum stipend contribution as applicable under apprenticeship norms.
- Training Duration: Six months.

🖥 Selection Process
Eligible applicants will be shortlisted through an All-India Computer Based Test (CBT). Placement with participating trainer companies will depend on availability and compliance with programme eligibility requirements.
